Smith & Nephew reported Total CO2e Emissions - Location-Based Scope 1 + Scope 2 for the twelve months ending 31 December 2021 at 76 Kt (+3.3/+4.5% y-o-y). At the sime time, carbon intensity plunged to 15 t (-1.4 /-8.8% y-o-y).

No public disclosure of Scope 3 emissions has been found for Smith & Nephew at the moment.

The company is committed to reducing Scope 1 + 2 by 80% by 2050 from a base year 2019, which translates into the estimated reduction of -2.1 Kt per annum over the period of FY2022 - FY2050.
