Mundys reported Total CO2e Emissions - Market-Based Scope 1 + Scope 2 for the twelve months ending 31 December 2020 at 303 Kt (-39 /-11.4% y-o-y). At the same time, carbon intensity soared to 44 t (+20/+83% y-o-y).

Mundys's Scope 3 emissions was up at 2,036 Kt (+221/+12% y-o-y). The growth has slowed compared to the trend since 4Q'17 (CAGR +30%).

The company has not set a company-wide target for an absolute reduction in GHG emissions yet.

Mundys also has a science-based goal that, however, does not appear to explicitly target a company-wide reduction in emissions in absolute terms. Mundys commits to reduce absolute scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions 50% by 2030 from a 2019 base year. Mundys also commits to reduce scope 3 GHG emissions from purchased goods and services 22% per km travelled on highways by 2030 from a 2019 base year. Mundys further commits to reduce absolute scope 3 GHG emissions from investments 50% by 2030 from a 2019 base year. Mundys finally commits that 60% of its customers by emissions covering use of sold products/services will set science-based targets by 2028.
