ISS AS reported Total CO2e Emissions - Market-Based Scope 1 + Scope 2 for the twelve months ending 31 December 2021 at 72 Kt (+1.6/+2.3% y-o-y). Carbon intensity also remained unchnaged at 6.3 t.

ISS AS's Scope 3 emissions grew to 6.1 Kt (+0.31/+5.4% y-o-y). The time series has been volatile over the last few periods.

The company has not set a company-wide target for an absolute reduction in GHG emissions yet.

ISS AS also has a science-based goal that, however, does not appear to explicitly target a company-wide reduction in emissions in absolute terms. ISS A/S commits to reduce absolute scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions 46.5% by 2030 from a 2019 base year. ISS A/S also commits to reduce absolute scope 3 GHG emissions from purchased goods and services, capital goods, fuel and energy related activities, waste generated in operations, business travel, employee commuting, use of sold products and end-of-life treatment of sold products 27.5% within the same timeframe.
