Credit Suisse reported Total CO2e Emissions - Location-Based Scope 1 + Scope 2 for the twelve months ending 31 December 2022 at 83 Kt (-4.5 /-5.2% y-o-y). At the same time, carbon intensity increased to 5.3 t (+1/+23% y-o-y).

Credit Suisse's Scope 3 emissions increased to 43 Kt (+18/+69% y-o-y). There has been no consistent trend in recent years.

The company is committed to achieving net zero for all Scopes by 2050, which translates into the estimated reduction of -4.5 Kt per annum over the period of FY2023 - FY2050. This target, however, has not been recognised as science-based (and as aligned with Paris Agreement) by the SBTi.
