Biomerieux's Scope 3 emissions skyrocketed to 1,040 Kt (+763/+275% y-o-y). The growth accelerated compared to the long-term upward trend (CAGR of +67% since 4Q'19).

The company is committed to reducing Scope 1 + 2 by 63% by 2034 from a base year 2019, which translates into the estimated reduction of -2.7 Kt per annum over the period of FY2022 - FY2034. This science-based target is aligned with Paris Agreement to limit global warming to 1.5°C above pre-industrial levels.
