Autodesk reported Total CO2e Emissions - Market-Based Scope 1 + Scope 2 for the twelve months ending 31 December 2021 at 0.69 Kt (-0.28 /-29.2% y-o-y). At the same time, carbon intensity remained flat at 0.3 t.

Autodesk's Scope 3 emissions decreased to 102 Kt (-23 /-18.4% y-o-y). This is a higher rate of decline than over the period since 4Q'16 (-9.6% CAGR).

The company is committed to reducing Scope 1 + 2 by 50% by 2031 from a base year 2020, which translates into the estimated reduction of -0.02 Kt per annum over the period of FY2022 - FY2031. This science-based target is aligned with Paris Agreement to limit global warming to 1.5°C above pre-industrial levels.
