Associated British Foods reported Total CO2e Emissions - Location-Based Scope 1 + Scope 2 for the twelve months ending 30 June 2021 at 3,161 Kt (-394 /-11.1% y-o-y).

Associated British Foods's Scope 3 emissions took off to 5,227 Kt (+4,463/+584% y-o-y). The growth accelerated compared to the long-term upward trend (CAGR of +91% since 2Q'19).

The company is committed to reducing all Scopes by 30% by 2030 from a base year 2018, which translates into the estimated reduction of -546 Kt per annum over the period of FY2022 - FY2030.
