ArcelorMittal reported Total CO2e Emissions - Market-Based Scope 1 + Scope 2 for the twelve months ending 31 December 2022 at 119,000 Kt (-20,400 /-14.6% y-o-y). Also positively, carbon intensity was down at 1,490 t (-330 /-18.1% y-o-y).

ArcelorMittal's Scope 3 emissions declined to 6,100 Kt (-2,300 /-27.4% y-o-y). This is a higher rate of decline than over the period since 4Q'18 (-16.4% CAGR).
