Allstate Corp reported Total CO2e Emissions - Market-Based Scope 1 + Scope 2 for the twelve months ending 31 December 2021 at 75 Kt (-4.6 /-5.8% y-o-y). Also positively, carbon intensity fell to 1.5 t (-0.4 /-21.1% y-o-y).

Allstate Corp's Scope 3 emissions decreased to 7 Kt (-0.8 /-10.3% y-o-y). The rate of decline has slowed vs. the previous periods (CAGR -19% since 4Q'17).

The company is committed to achieving net zero for Scope 1 + 2 by 2030, which translates into the estimated reduction of -8.4 Kt per annum over the period of FY2022 - FY2030. This target, however, has not been recognised as science-based (and as aligned with Paris Agreement) by the SBTi.
