GHG emissions and Carbon intensity

ASR Nederland reported Total CO2e Emissions - Location-Based Scope 1 + Scope 2 for the twelve months ending 31 December 2020 at 1.2 Kt (-1 /-46.5% y-o-y). Also positively, carbon intensity plummeted to 0.1 t (-0.1 /-50% y-o-y).

ASR Nederland's Scope 3 emissions grew to 2.3 Kt (+1.3/+137% y-o-y). The performance has been erratic recently.

The company is committed to reducing all Scopes by 50% by 2025 from a base year 2018, which it appears to have already achieved as of 2020. This target, however, has not been recognised as science-based (and as aligned with Paris Agreement) by the SBTi.
