eBay reported Total CO2e Emissions - Market-Based Scope 1 + Scope 2 for the twelve months ending 31 December 2021 at 47 Kt (-19 /-28.9% y-o-y). Also positively, carbon intensity decreased to 4.5 t (-3 /-40% y-o-y).

eBay's Scope 3 emissions increased to 4,752 Kt (+3,284/+224% y-o-y).

The company is committed to reducing Scope 1 + 2 by 90% by 2030 from a base year 2019, which translates into the estimated reduction of -4.3 Kt per annum over the period of FY2022 - FY2030.
