Trimble's carbon footprint

Trimble reported Total CO2e Emissions - Location-Based Scope 1 + Scope 2 for the twelve months ending 31 December 2020 at 9.7 Kt (-3.5 /-26.5% y-o-y). Also positively, carbon intensity plunged to 3.1 t (-0.9 /-22.5% y-o-y).

Trimble also commits to increase annual sourcing of renewable electricity from 0% in 2019 to 100% by 2025. Trimble commits to reduce absolute scope 3 GHG emissions from fuel and energy related activities, business travel and upstream transportation and distribution 50% by 2030 from a 2019 base year. Trimble also commits that 70% of its suppliers by emissions covering purchased goods and services and capital goods, will have science-based targets by 2026
