Trane Technologies reported Total CO2e Emissions - Market-Based Scope 1 + Scope 2 for the twelve months ending 31 December 2021 at 319 Kt (-32 /-9.2% y-o-y). Also positively, carbon intensity plunged to 23 t (-5.7 /-20.2% y-o-y).

Trane Technologies's Scope 3 emissions took off to 366,163 Kt (+34,957/+11% y-o-y). There has been no consistent trend in recent years.

The company is committed to reducing Scope 1 + 2 by 50% by 2030 from a base year 2019, which translates into the estimated reduction of -12 Kt per annum over the period of FY2022 - FY2030.
