Temenos reported Total CO2e Emissions - Location-Based Scope 1 + Scope 2 for the twelve months ending 31 December 2021 at 5.3 Kt (-0.4 /-7.1% y-o-y). Also positively, carbon intensity tumbled to 5.5 t (-0.9 /-14.1% y-o-y).

Temenos's Scope 3 emissions was up at 5 Kt (+1/+26% y-o-y). There has been no consistent trend in recent years.

The company is committed to reducing Scope 1 + 2 by 46.2% by 2030 from a base year 2019, which translates into the estimated reduction of -0.22 Kt per annum over the period of FY2022 - FY2030. This science-based target is aligned with Paris Agreement to limit global warming to 1.5°C above pre-industrial levels.
