Tapestry's carbon footprint

Tapestry reported Total CO2e Emissions - Location-Based Scope 1 + Scope 2 for the twelve months ending 30 June 2021 at 59 Kt (+32/+119% y-o-y). Carbon intensity also surged to 10 t (+4.8/+87% y-o-y).

Tapestry's Scope 3 emissions grew to 68 Kt (+21/+45% y-o-y). The performance has been erratic recently.

The company is committed to reducing Scope 1 + 2 by 20% by 2025 from a base year 2017, which translates into the estimated reduction of -2.2 Kt per annum over the period of FY2022 - FY2025. This target, however, has not been recognised as science-based (and as aligned with Paris Agreement) by the SBTi.
