Spirax-Sarco Engineering plc aims to achieve net zero for Scope 1 + 2 by 2030

Spirax-Sarco Engineering plc reported Total CO2e Emissions - Location-Based Scope 1 + Scope 2 for the twelve months ending 31 December 2021 at 40 Kt (+1.6/+4.1% y-o-y). At the sime time, carbon intensity declined to 22 t (-3.2 /-12.9% y-o-y).
No public disclosure of Scope 3 emissions has been found for Spirax-Sarco Engineering plc at the moment.
The company is committed to achieving net zero for Scope 1 + 2 by 2030, which translates into the estimated reduction of -4.4 Kt per annum over the period of FY2022 - FY2030. This target, however, has not been recognised as science-based (and as aligned with Paris Agreement) by the SBTi.
