GHG emissions and Carbon intensity

SAP reported Total CO2e Emissions - Market-Based Scope 1 + Scope 2 for the twelve months ending 31 December 2022 at 233 Kt (+56/+31% y-o-y). Carbon intensity also spiked to 7.2 t (+1.8/+33% y-o-y).

SAP's Scope 3 emissions increased to 158 Kt (+21/+15% y-o-y). The parameter has been fairly volatile.
