Prologis reported Total CO2e Emissions - Market-Based Scope 1 + Scope 2 for the twelve months ending 31 December 2021 at 3 Kt (-0.83 /-21.6% y-o-y).

Prologis's Scope 3 emissions was down at 3,704 Kt (-55 /-1.5% y-o-y). The rate of decline has slowed vs. the previous periods (CAGR -11.4% since 4Q'18).

The company has not set a company-wide target for an absolute reduction in GHG emissions yet.

Prologis also has a science-based goal that, however, does not appear to explicitly target a company-wide reduction in emissions in absolute terms. Multinational logistics real estate investment trust Prologis commits to reduce absolute scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions 21% by 2025, and 56% by 2040 from a 2016 base-year. Prologis also commits to reduce absolute scope 3 GHG emissions 15% by 2025 and 40% by 2040 from a 2016 base-year.
