Kindred Group reported Total CO2e Emissions - Location-Based Scope 1 + Scope 2 for the twelve months ending 31 December 2020 at 2 Kt (-0.39 /-16.4% y-o-y). Also positively, carbon intensity declined to 1.4 t (-0.6 /-30% y-o-y).

Kindred Group's Scope 3 emissions tumbled to 0.86 Kt (-3 /-78% y-o-y). The decline accelerated compared to the CAGR of -34.6% since 4Q'17.

The company has not set a company-wide target for an absolute reduction in GHG emissions yet.

Kindred Group also has a science-based goal that, however, does not appear to explicitly target a company-wide reduction in emissions in absolute terms. Kindred Group commits to reduce absolute scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions 90% by FY2027 from a FY2019 base year. Kindred Group also commits to reduce absolute scope 3 GHG emissions 35% within the same timeframe.
