GHG emissions and Carbon intensity

Kering reported Total CO2e Emissions - Market-Based Scope 1 + Scope 2 for the twelve months ending 31 December 2022 at 29 Kt (-1.3 /-4.1% y-o-y). Also positively, carbon intensity decreased to 1.4 t (-0.1 /-6.7% y-o-y).

Kering's Scope 3 emissions soared to 2,398 Kt (+2,127/+785% y-o-y). The growth accelerated compared to the long-term upward trend (CAGR of +160% since 4Q'20).

The company is committed to achieving net zero for all Scopes by 2030, which translates into the estimated reduction of -303 Kt per annum over the period of FY2023 - FY2030. This science-based target is aligned with Paris Agreement to limit global warming to 1.5°C above pre-industrial levels.
