Husqvarna reported Total CO2e Emissions - Market-Based Scope 1 + Scope 2 for the twelve months ending 31 December 2021 at 47 Kt (-18 /-27.5% y-o-y). Also positively, carbon intensity was down at 8.5 t (-5 /-37% y-o-y).

Husqvarna's Scope 3 emissions grew to 4,989 Kt (+362/+7.8% y-o-y). The performance has been erratic recently.

The company is committed to reducing all Scopes by 35% by 2025 from a base year 2015, which translates into the estimated reduction of -135 Kt per annum over the period of FY2022 - FY2025. This science-based target is aligned with Paris Agreement to limit global warming to 1.5°C above pre-industrial levels.
