ExxonMobil reported Total CO2e Emissions - Market-Based Scope 1 + Scope 2 for the twelve months ending 31 December 2022 at 120,000 Kt (+2,000/+1.7% y-o-y). At the sime time, carbon intensity dropped to 301 t (-126 /-29.4% y-o-y).

ExxonMobil's Scope 3 emissions tumbled to 530,000 Kt (-1,260,000 /-70.4% y-o-y). This is a higher rate of decline than over the period since 4Q'19 (-35% CAGR).

The company has not set a company-wide target for an absolute reduction in GHG emissions yet.
