Dexus reported gross GHG emissions (Scope 1 + 2 before carbon offsets) for the twelve months ending 30 June 2021 at 101 Kt (-24 /-19.4% y-o-y).

Dexus's Scope 3 emissions tumbled to 22 Kt (-7.2 /-24.8% y-o-y). This is a higher rate of decline than over the period since 2Q'18 (-12.7% CAGR).

The company is committed to reducing Scope 1 + 2 by 70% by 2030 from a base year 2018, which translates into the estimated reduction of -6.3 Kt per annum over the period of FY2022 - FY2030. This science-based target is aligned with Paris Agreement to limit global warming to 1.5°C above pre-industrial levels.
