Cisco Systems reported Total CO2e Emissions - Market-Based Scope 1 + Scope 2 for the twelve months ending 30 June 2022 at 143 Kt (-31 /-18% y-o-y). Also positively, carbon intensity decreased to 2.8 t (-0.7 /-20% y-o-y).

Cisco Systems's Scope 3 emissions decreased sharply to 21,222 Kt (-2,401 /-10.2% y-o-y). The decline accelerated compared to the CAGR of -6.9% since 2Q'19.

The company is committed to reducing Scope 1 + 2 by 90% by 2025 from a base year 2019, which translates into the estimated reduction of -40 Kt per annum over the period of FY2023 - FY2025.
