Bank of New York Mellon reported Total CO2e Emissions - Market-Based Scope 1 + Scope 2 for the twelve months ending 31 December 2021 at 8.2 Kt (-0.17 /-2% y-o-y). At the same time, carbon intensity remained flat at 0.5 t.

Bank of New York Mellon's Scope 3 emissions was down at 1.2 Kt (-1 /-46% y-o-y). This is broadly in line with the declining trend (CAGR -41.6%) since 4Q'17.
