Avantor's carbon footprint

Avantor reported Total CO2e Emissions - Location-Based Scope 1 + Scope 2 for the twelve months ending 31 December 2021 at 60 Kt (-2.2 /-3.5% y-o-y). Also positively, carbon intensity decreased to 9.7 t (-1.2 /-11% y-o-y).

No public disclosure of Scope 3 emissions has been found for Avantor at the moment.

The company is committed to reducing Scope 1 + 2 by 15% by 2025 from a base year 2019, which translates into the estimated reduction of -0.89 Kt per annum over the period of FY2022 - FY2025.
