GHG emissions and Carbon intensity

AVEVA Group reported Total CO2e Emissions - Market-Based Scope 1 + Scope 2 for the twelve months ending 31 March 2021 at 7.7 Kt (-2.5 /-24.5% y-o-y). Also positively, carbon intensity declined to 7.6 t (-1.8 /-19.1% y-o-y).

AVEVA Group's Scope 3 emissions declined to 361 Kt (-14 /-3.6% y-o-y).

The company is committed to achieving net zero for Scope 1 + 2 by 2030, which translates into the estimated reduction of -0.86 Kt per annum over the period of FY2022 - FY2030. This science-based target is aligned with Paris Agreement to limit global warming to 1.5°C above pre-industrial levels.
